John French and Phoenix Renovations completed the second story addition and full remodel of our bungalow in Virginia Highland. From the very first meeting it was clear that Phoenix's thoroughness, communication, and organization is what sets them apart and makes their work so special. Those traits were consistently displayed through the entire construction process and resulted in a final product that was beautiful, on-time, and on-budget. We love our new home and the care that Phoenix put into their work is evident throughout. Phoenix's portfolio and workmanship is spectacular, but the highest compliment I can give them has nothing to do with their excellent craftsmanship. It is the fact that they take a potentially stressful process and make it incredibly easy and enjoyable! My husband and I had a complete renovation of our 1924 Morningside home, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had a great overall experience with Phoenix Renovations. We bought a home built in 1930 that needed substantial upgrades, but we felt strongly about maintaining the style and tradition of both the home and the broader Haynes Manor neighborhood. Lee Fiata and the Phoenix team were honest and upfront from the start by providing us with real perspectives, preparing us for potential issues along the way and illustrating a willingness to work collaboratively with other key partners (designers, architects, engineers, etc).
